Here are the beginnings of a LEED Platinum, five-story, 20-unit residential complex in Brookline, MA. Parking for residents and the occupants of an adjacent building will be provided in a two-level parking garage. One level of parking will be fully below grade. We believe Englewood is a great example of what you can do within the typical constraints of urban properties.

We’ll celebrate a key milestone in the life of Boston’s newest Smart Growth Corridor. An event will kick off our renovation of the Pearl Bornstein Building in Roxbury, MA. Keynote speakers include the Director of the EPA, Lisa Jackson, Mayor Menino, and Governor Patrick. The project at 196 Quincy Street in Roxbury, MA redevelops a former meat-production facility and will enhance a dense urban neighborhood in Boston.

Sage update

Another RODE collaboration with Carroll Design Studio is taking form – exterior siding is up and interior finishes are coming together at Sage Lounge in Provincetown. The project is on schedule to be ready for the summer weather!

Glenville Phase 2 underway…

Excitement at the intersection of Glenville Avenue and Greylock Road, as phase two construction continues. Foundations are complete and the framing begins this week. We are adding new townhouse units in this dense and vibrant neighborhood.

108 Lincoln

RODE Architects was selected to design a new rooftop penthouse addition in the Leather District. The project is located overlooking the Greenway on Lincoln Street. The project is currently in the approvals process.

Zoning Board Approvals

City of Boston Zoning Board of Appeal approved two current RODE projects: a multi-family residential project on Neponset Avenue and the redevelopment of the old Pearl Meats factory plant.

La Brasa

RODE Architects was selected to design Frank McClelland and Daniel Bojorquez’s new restaurant in East Somerville. Frank McClelland opened, and has been executive chef at, two renown restaurants – Sel de la Terre and L’Espalier. Daniel Bojorquez is the chef at Natick’s Sel de la Terre. McClelland and Bojorquez are now in the process of opening a new restaurant called La Brasa. We have partnered with Carroll Design Studio on this project and design is under way. LEED Platinum

Englewood has been designed to meet LEED Platinum requirements. Construction has begun on this 20 unit residential building in Brookline and the project will receive it’s LEED Platinum rating upon completion.
