RODE’s proposal for Boynton Yards aims to create a phased development by strategically locating nodes of activity while responding to previous neighborhood plans. The master plan takes advantage of a variety of existing neighborhood amenities such as union square, proximity to universities and future access to the T. Internally, the project features public, semi-public and private open spaces to become a local destination for surrounding neighbors and future residents. Through its phases the development will be comprised of parks, artists’ studios/ galleries, restaurants, retail, offices, and residential buildings housing over 350 units.
