RODE Architects transformed the former Norbert school in Jamaica Plain into 21 loft apartment units. RODE’s two fold approach restored the historic exterior of the building while creating a contemporary response to the interior. The design renewed and exposed elements of the original building with the intent of creating a contrast that complements the loft type spaces with highlights of the past.
