Description
The five and six story mixed-use development at 232 Old Colony Avenue aims to enhance the overall livability in the South Boston area. Old Colony's strong architectural moves serve the neighborhoods immediate and future needs with design best suited for the development of the Dorchester Avenue Corridor. Situated between two major red line MBTA stations and bus hubs, the building emulates the existing urban layout and intersecting street patterns in its design technique with an offset entry and wider paths, creating a stronger public realm by pushing sidewalk back for outdoor space.
