Architect / Designer
RODE Architects is a collaborative, innovative design firm in Boston’s South End. The firm is seeking a full-time Architect / Designer to join the team in the design of institutional, commercial, residential and multi-family buildings from design through construction.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree, 4-6 years of professional office experience, which includes at least 3 years of professional experience using Revit.
We are looking for candidates that have the following skill set:
Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
Strong design and graphic illustration skills
Experience with construction documents
Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with your teams, clients and consultants
Embraces the challenge of juggling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Be highly motivated, organized, and able to self-manage tasks and priorities to meet deadlines

Interior Designer
RODE Architects is a collaborative, innovative design firm in Boston’s South End. The firm is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our team in the design of hospitality, institutional, commercial, residential and multi-family buildings.
Candidates should have achieved a Bachelor or Master of Interior Design or Architecture degree from an accredited institution and 10 years of interior design experience in professional firm.
We are looking for candidates that have the following experience:
Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of the interior design process including: programming, interior space planning, schematics, research, selection and specifying materials and FF&E, detailing, construction documents, consultant coordination, and construction administration
Work closely with Principals to continue to market and develop the interior’s practice within the firm
Experience with project management including estimating staffing requirements and working within client budgets
Ability to efficiently and effectively manage priorities on multiple projects either independently or with a team
Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with your teams, clients and consultants
Creative, critical, and innovative designer and thinker
Skilled at mentoring junior level staff and sharing expertise
NCIDQ certification a plus
