RODE Re-Cap: 2020
2020 changed the world as we know it. It tested our strength, resiliency, and patience. It kept us apart while empowering us to come together. It made us think outside the box and do business as usual, in unusual ways. It urged us to master the video greeting for our blog in place of sharing an in-person cheers...
From awards to community outreach to project completions, the achievements below are the result of a passionate and dedicated group of people who adapted and persevered as a team through a tumultuous year.
Dorchester Brewing Co. wins an AIA New England Design Award.
Our design for Boston's first ever Passive House Certified homes is approved by the BPDA and Parks Department.
We used our resources as architects to create PPE for those on the front line.
The Meeting House brought 36 new units of affordable and workforce housing to Dorchester.
The Lexington's trio of spaces opened in a stunning new pavilion in Cambridge's North Point neighborhood.
Despite social distancing, we found a way to connect with students and share our knowledge and encouragement.
We expanded our office to include a new fabrication space.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester and The Martin Richard Foundation presented our field house design to Boston Public Schools.
We helped non-profits, restaurants, and food business incubators adopt COVID safety protocols.
We are proud of our accomplishments but we couldn't have done it without the support of our clients, colleagues, friends and family. From everyone at RODE, we thank you for your support and wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.
Next stop, 2021!
